I was told there would be a 10% fee for converting my jar to cash, and no fee if I went with a giftcard. I chose an iTunes giftcard.

After putting in all of my change, it informed me that they were having an issue with their giftcard service and would convert it to cash with a 10% convenience fee I did not agree to. Was I only defrauded out of $3?

Yes, but imagine all the other users they rip off who don't feel like going to bat. It's why people who steal debit card numbers only remove a small amount of money at a time from the account, or why the concept of 'salami slicing' exists.

Reason of review: Fraud.

Monetary Loss: $3.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
